Pictures

It's amazing how much your face can change with weight loss.  I noticed each year as I became heavier and heavier that I was almost unrecognizable to myself in pictures.  My eyes were so puffy.  I am so much happier with my appearance now.  Here are a few before and afters.  The after picture is a recent one of my sister and I.

Another Monday

Trying to settle into a Monday after a nice weekend.  It's sunny and beautiful here today - expected to be almost 70 degrees.  Makes me want to have a suntan!!

My hubby and I had a nice weekend away without the kiddos.  We went to Reno to see Diamond Rio in concert, play some slot machines, drink, and eat.  We had a great time.

I nibbled my way through the weekend.  I still suffer from missing food.  I truly loved to eat....enjoyed what I picked to eat.  I would plan what I was going to eat next while eating.  I didn't waste a single morsel of my meal!  I guess that's what got me into the trouble I was in.  It's still tough when I get together with family or go on trips.  So much of our lives are built around the meal!

I did good.  I have been a bit tight lately so I really have to make good food choices or I suffer for it.  I stuck to salads and soups to be safe.  Even though I had my share of alcholic beverages.....I still did just fine.  This morning I weighed in at 147.

Happy Monday everyone

I don't excercise

Digging back through the blogs that I have missed for months and months.....I notice a very big trend - you guys excercise and I am jealous of it.

I have managed to kick 89 pounds over the last 14 months with the help of my band.  Luckily my skin has been kind to me and has followed right along.  I do have some terrible stretch marks on my belly but they have always been there from 3 pregnancies of 60+ pounds of weight gain.  My boobs are so tiny now and my arms and legs are flabby - not terribly bad, but I know they could look much better.

I've been walking a little bit because we have had a very mild winter this year.  Not enough to make a difference, but enough to let me know that I should be doing it every day.  I have been considering doing the P.9.0.X program.  I think that it would really firm everything up.

Has anyone tried P.9.0.X?

Ronnie dragged me back!

This morning I woke up to a nice post from Ronnie.  She was checking in on me.  As you can see it's been MONTHS since I have been here.

Currently I am sitting at 147 pounds.  That is a loss of 89 pounds !  Woo Hoo!  I have dropped to a wonderful size 6.  It feels so nice.

On the band-front things have been going ok.  I haven't had a fill in quite some time.  I had one last in August.  We went on a cruise in October and I did really well (lost 4 pounds).  Never felt too restricted at any point.  When I returned from my cruise I became extremely sick from being too tight.  I went in and had some restriction removed (1cc).  Instant relief.  Went back a couple of months later and had some replaced (.50cc).  That lasted all of about a day.  I was so tight again.  Miserable.  I went back and had it removed and have not been back since.  I think I found the green zone, however I still have tight moments.  This week has definitely been one.  I am having a difficult time eating.  During these times I stick to a soft diet and protein shakes.  When I am not overly restricted I eat whatever I want, in moderation.  I do not do bread.  That really is the only thing that avoid.

I have been busy at work (our busy season begins in October and ends in May), very busy with the kids - ended football season, started and ended basketball season, and now we enjoy a nice break before football begins again.  (they don't do baseball)

Now I will need to find the time to see how all of you have been doing.  Hopefully I find everyone happy and in excellent health!

Take care,
Tracy
