C25K



I am going to try to become a runner.  Couch to 5K here I come.   I have seen a mention or two of this program on a few blogs, but have never actually seen anyone comment in detail.  Anyone trying this/tried this?  Any suggestions or advise?  I hate, hate, hate running!  I am hoping that I can be motivated enough to do this!

  1. I completed it! I downloaded it as an app on my iPod touch and used it to train myself to run outdoors. I was previously a slave to the treadmill. It totally worked!

  2. a friend and I have just started. So far so good. While I can't IMAGINE running for 30 minutes straight, I can absolutely manage the 1-minute runs broken up by 90-second walks.... I think the key is to be consistent so that you build up the endurance. Download a good podcast so you don't have to mess with timers and such and give it a whirl. Good luck!!!

  3. Good luck with doing the 5K !

    I'm not up to running as yet - only just up to 3.8 on the treadmill with a 6 incline and the bike up to an "8" - so it will be a while before I can try a 5K.
